Финская метал-группа Children of Bodom выбрала себе название столь же мрачное как и ее музыка (на берегу финского озера Бодом произошло страшное и до сих по нераскрытое убийство).
Свой стиль музыканты Children of Bodom определяют как экстремальный метал с элементамы блек, спид, дет и классик, главная особенность группы – сложные и техничные соло лидера Алекси Лайхо.
Группа много и активно выступает в Финляндии и за рубежом. Летом 2009 группа приезжала на рок-фестивали в Турку, Йоенсуу, Сейняйоки. Осенью Children of Bodom проведет 7-недельный тур по обеим Америкам, дальнему востоку и России, который закончится выступлением в московском клубе B1 Maximum.
